Lakers to lease Alter G Trainer for rehab of Injured players...

The Lakers have leased something called a Alter G Trainer to help guys like Andrew Bynum, Trevor Ariza, and Chris Mihm rehab with greater efficiency. Essentially, the machine is a big (literally, since this particular model is build for hoopsters) treadmill in which the lower half of an athlete is encapsulated, for lack of a better term, inside a bubble. Once strapped in, guys look like they're sticking halfway out of a submarine.
